When I was teaching ESL in Vancouver I would photocopy the articles from the WWN for my advanced class. Believe it or not, it was a great way for them to famiiarize themselves with western humour a little. They all thought it was great fun.
I’ve been known to laugh out loud in the check-out line while reading them. Great entertainment.
