Hmmmmm … I though Pat was living in North Carolina … these also look like budget pipes. No keys or key bloacks and the bellows are not routed like the better sets Pat makes. By the way, according to his web site, Pat Sky’s budget set costs $600 like PJ says
Fabulous. At this point, doesn’t it seem like there enough of these sorts of listings to justify a separate “Buy-it-now from a drunk, illiterate piss artist” section on Ebay?
I’ve emailed the vendor with a link to Pat Sky’s price list. I’ve also asked who the noted Irish musician is and what competition he/she won. I’ll post any reply I get.
Believe it or not, this is true. Tarmac was originally created for them to graze upon… it’s later secondary use as a substrate for motorized vehicles (mechanical beasts of burden, as it were) was discovered much later.
In fact, I quite like that way of writing it. I’m going to adopt it in all my references to that great city:
There once were two cats of Kill Kenny,
Each thought there was one cat too many,
So they fought and they fit,
And they scratched and they bit,
Till, excepting their nails
And the tips of their tails,
Insteads of two cats, there weren’t any
Uh huh, right. (insert eyeroll) Just went to the sight yesterday and the price is nowhere near that high. Can anyone even think of a maker who sells practice sets for that much?
A little while ago I was not feeling very well, but after reading these replies (and the Ebay listing), well, you know what they say, ‘Laughter is the best medicine’.
(still trying to figure out the bit about "plays in Cord Arm Belt’ … )
By the way, Pat, it would appear that your practice sets need a significant upward adjustment in price!
