NTIF

Anyone going to be there? Both Lunasa and Danu are on the bill, ought to be excellent!

-Rob-

I’m planning on it, I’ve been wanting to catch Lunasa live now for ages.

I’m there. And I’ve had these freakin’ bells tied around my feet so long the folks on campus are starting to think I’m autistic.

Any hints on what “NTIF” might be? I assume it’s an acronym.

New Traditional Irish Funk?

Or what?

I’ll definitely be there. The lineup this year is great. Can’t wait to see Lunasa live.

Actually, and ironically, it could be any of those three.

Never Tread In Fear?

Last year, Paddy Keenan gave an outdoor concert in a 6 degree wind-chill. That’s fearless in my book, especially considering he plays an original Rowsome chanter.

Lunasa + Danu + Bohola. You do the math.

New Traditional Irish Funk?

Follow the chromatics to any obligatory celto-jazz session. Usually on occurs past midnight.

BigTex, where exactly is Bandera, TX? West Texas is it? Though I’m originally from Orange County, CA, I’m livin’ in Waco tight now.

JH

Thanks for the info, guys. Sounds fun; sorry I won’t be able to make it. Enjoy!

Bandera is about 55 miles west of San Antonio in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It would be about a 4 hour drive from Waco. If you love the outdoors, you’d feel at home here. The scenery is lovely. We have lots of hills, trails, and clear running streams. In town, there are plenty of good eateries and live music venues. So, come on out and bring your flute. Jamming in public or in the bars is welcome.
