Hello,
I have a Martin Doyle keyless D flute for sale in Santa Barbara, CA–it’s made of Kanuka, a New Zealand hardwood, and has 3 silver ferrules. It’s in good working order and comes with a leather case and a swab. I’m asking for $700–I’m discounting it from what I paid a couple years ago ($800). I’ve been very happy with this flute, and am selling it in order to buy a traditional climbing rack…I posted this topic 5 days ago but wanted to add that it’s in D!
Here are some photos of Martin Doyle himself playing the flute, some pictures of the flute that I took, as well as a link to Martin’s pricing page if you want to check out prices in general:

A little bit of history: I bought the flute from Ben Power, an awesome Trad Irish musician and teacher in La Jolla–many thanks to him for his instruction and kindness! When I bought it, I noticed it had no stamp; Ben kindly provided the photos of Martin, and when I emailed Martin later on, he confirmed that it was his and offered to have it stamped if I was ever in Ireland…yet to do! So it’s definitely an oddball, but a genuine Doyle.
If you’re looking to get a Doyle flute at a lower price than a new order, and without the workshop time, let me know–you’re more than welcome to come play it. Please let me know if you need any other information.
Cheers,
Bryant
