Looking to buy a Martin Doyle flute. Does anyone have one they are looking to sell?

I’m looking for a celltic flute. A keyed one would be great, but I’m also in the market for a keyless.

I have a 6-key Doyle that I might consider selling. It’s his traditional model, not the Celtic one, though, although my understanding is that they are acoustically the same. Feel free to send me a PM if you’d like more info.

He’s somewhat active on Facebook, in the same flute groups we probably are hanging out in.

Martin Doyle Flute Set D & Eb With Two Cases

Martin Doyle flute set:

Celtic flute in D, blackwood, with accompanying Eb body. One head joint for the two bodies. “Celtic” model.

Both play beautifully. Perfect intonation, great volume. In two original leather cases. These cases are now unavailable, having been replaced with black plastic cases. Or I can send them in a heavier, large black plastic case. They have been seldom played, and both are like new. No warps, dings, or scratches.

Current cost for these would be about $1,400 plus tax, plus shipping, plus import duty, etc, to total well over $1,600. I am asking for $1,175 for the set.

Gorgeous flutes by a great maker. I love Doyle’s flutes. If he charged more for his flutes he’d be accorded greater respect. I will accept these back for a full refund if you’re not happy with them.
