Let's make this a double celebration.

Carol was right. While everybody’s attention was on a recent sideshow we missed celebrating the Weekenders 2k milestone. So:

Congratulations Lance

HUZZAH! Congrats Lance2K!

HIP,

HIP,

HOORAY!!

Do we get cake?

Or Guinness?

Redwolf

Well Lance will want a pure malt Scotch I think. And here I am having given up the hard stuff. I haven’t smoked for years so I can’t offer a cigar either.

Tofu sandwiches all round? I think it’ll have to be cake. Will Black Forest do? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep. Does it for me.

Bears repeating: Congratulations, Weekski!

Congrats, Lance!

I’ll lift a glass in your name. . .

Wondering when I’ll join the elite. . .Why two K?

How about a bottle of “The Blushing Maiden” our newest wine  ?

Actually, it came to light in a thread on a different topic, and he was congratulated there.

You’re quite right Walden. What makes it worse is that that is the kind of thread I always enjoy and I missed it.

Well, call me sentimental, call me old-fashioned, call me ..er , never mind … but I think Lance must have his very own thread and this is it.

Funny how attached you can get to a smoking jacket when you no longer smoke, isn’t it?

Congrats to one and all who have 2k or more!

Interestingly, I never received a smoking jacket. Oh well, I never smoked in the first place.

I should have mentioned earlier,

My 1K smoking jacket did finally arrive. Sadly, by the time I got the smoking stopped, it was nothing but ashes and a few tatters. I’m not sure this smoking jacket thing is such a good idea.

Best wishes,
Jerry
