I do too It really wasn’t about the numbers in the end…it was just fun to have yet another party in the Pub
I have no idea where the smoking jacket is now…although I do think I saw it last in the 5k lounge when I snuck in there to see how much nicer their loo is than ours is in the 3k

I haven’t been sulking in my tent, I’ve just continued to cope with the hecticness of work-related and private travel and been too busy to drop into the lounge for a quiet brandy and savour a nice Havana from the humidor.
Since 1 May I’ve been in Istanbul, Helsinki, the Ardennes, Lisbon and Hamburg. This weekend Dublin, then Dresden, Vienna and Thessaloniki before the end of this month!
So it’s no wonder that I’m under-achieving at a paltry 2K. Perhaps we should arrange to have a special lounge carriage with wireless internet access coupled onto the Orient Express?
** Sigh ** If only they did say that…
