Historical Lacunae - a recipe for porridge?

In searching the forums for posts on topic I no longer remember, I fell down a real rabbit hole of thread-following (another perfectly good 2 hours…oh well).

In trying to build the context for some of the bizarre posts upon which I happened, I found that I could only reach some of the earliest posts by search, that one couldn’t simply “go to the end of the list” for example, on the whistle board, and see what else was “goin’ on, sister, brother” at the time.

What’s needed is a “wayback machine” for C&F, so I can go back, & capture the heady zeitgeist (note: that’s note a pittardly geist) of the days of yesteryear (well, 2001/2002 at least).

The posts that leave me absolutely puzzled? The question that burns in my brain (though almost certainly no good will come of it, it will satisfy my base & morbid curiosity, for which I hereby roundly criticize in myself):

Did the Crystal People eat Porridge, and did they find out who it was before the did? I just gotta know! The tone of some of the remarks in those old [posts bore similarities to recent events, thus reinforcing my belief that, running parallel to the high SNR of good message boards (like this one), there are some “looping scripts” which seem to play out fairly reliably, and have fairly reliable cycles, like the passing of constellations through the dome of our particular sky. You could almost navigate by them.

If this is an “angels fear to tread” kind of question and the lacunae are there (no there?) for a good reason, just lemme know and I’ll happily replace this posts title and text a nice Ode or Canto.

Did the Crystal People eat Porridge.

If so then that explains what happened to him.
I miss Porridge and Station.
And Talbert.
And though I like the new Cranberry, the old Cranberry was full of spit and vinegar.
