Can any one recommend some makers of galician bagpipes (gaita galega)?
Perhaps some makers websites, I have found a few but I’m sure there are more.
I am looking to spend between $USD 700-1000, can I get a good set for that price range?

the top makers such as Gil, Sito Carracedo, Seivane & Anton Corral are out of your pricetag… but there are many others also good so if you are looking what gaita to get for a lower price get a chanter (puntero) from a top maker and the gaita body and drone from another … so please check this discussion in Spanish: http://www.tierrafolk.com/foroes/index.php?topic=586.msg1244
For a lower pricetag you might need to reduce the number of drones perhaps to a single one and the wood price tag from top to bottom granadillo, pao violeta, ebano, buxo… to other optional african woods such as pao santo, pao rosa, akoga, etc.
