Central Ohio. My wife's people sorta passed through there on their way to somewhere else. Must not have made too much of an impression. Even though four of six kids were raised and married there, I can't really find much on them or what/where they finally came to.

Looking back, she does spell hers "chatty..." but I just though I'd ask.

I'm sure you're right, Walden. Especially if you happen to be married yourself.

Maybe Mrs_Mc and I could double with Kim and Mr. in Tulsa (and all four kids).

Happy Valentines!

A day to celebrate heart and the songs there upon.

'Tis double blessed for me,
for Peg and I,
tied our knot on Feb 14th, 1990;
A second marriage for us both.

After the wedding
with its vows
for all to hear;
we gathered at home
with friends
celebrating.

I drew my beloved
to side of the room,
and sang
just for her
words that rang true
for us.
Words Sung,
for music ever adds,
that for which
words
are not enough.

In celebration and rememberance,
lyrics here
for my beloved's
heart song.

By My Side.

Where are you going?
Where are you going?
Can you take me with you?
For my hand is cold
And needs warmth
Where are you going?

Far beyond where the horizon lies
Where the horizon lies and the land
Sinks into mellow blueness
Oh please, take me with you

Let me skip the road with you
I can dare myself,
I can dare myself
I'll put a pebble in my shoe
And watch me walk
I can walk, I can walk!

I shall call the pebble Dare
I shall call the pebble Dare
We will walk,
we will talk together about walking
Dare shall be carried
And when we both have had enough
I will take him from my shoe, singing
"Meet your new road!"

Then I'll take your hand
Finally glad
That I am here
By your side
By your side
By your side.
Life still continues to put pebbles in our shoes,
yet glad we are at each other's side.

My your heart's song delight,
and may you always ...

Smiles to all! And congrats to dear Mack and Joan on their 40th. Vicki and I were celebrating our 20th when we visited them last August...

And, Jessie - that was a great picture of the cats!!! Our dogs snuggle once in a while, but never quite as peacefully...

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

Congratulations to our beloved Mack and Joan! Here's wishing you a second forty! **clink** And to the rest who will spend this day basking in that heart's glow, here's wishing God's blessings on you and yours-- **clink**

And now, here's something for all us single people who spend this day being bombarded with all the great things we're missing out on. National Day of Mourning, indeed. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the lyrics to one of the funniest "love songs" in the history of civilization:
One More Minute
---------------
by Weird Al Yankovic

Well I heard that you're leavin'
Gonna leave me far behind
'cause you found a brand new lover
You decided that I'm not your kind

So I pulled your name out of my Rolodex
And I tore all your pictures in two
And I burned down the malt shop where we used to go
Just because it reminds me of you

That's right, you ain't gonna see me cryin'
I'm glad that you found somebody new
'cause I'd rather spend eternity
Eating shards of broken glass
Than spend one more minute with you

I guess I might seem kind of bitter
You've got me feeling down in the dumps
'cause I'm stranded all alone at the gas station of love
And I have to use the self service pumps!

Oh so, honey, let me help you with that suitcase
You ain't gonna break my heart in two
'cause I'd rather get a hundred thousand paper cuts on my face
Then spend one more minute with you

I'd rather rip out my intestines with a fork
Then watch you going out with other men
I'd rather slam my fingers in a door
Again and again and again and again and again
(Oh can't ya see what I'm trying to tell ya darling!)

I'd rather have my blood sucked out by leeches
Shove an ice pick under a toenail or two
I'd rather clean all the bathrooms
in Grand Central Station... with my tongue
Then spend one more minute with you.

Yes, I'd rather jump naked on a huge pile of thumbtacks
Or stick my nostrils together with Krazy Glue
I'd rather dive into a swimming pool
filled with double edged razor blades
Then spend one more minute with you

I'd rather rip my heart right outta my ribcage
With my bare hands and then throw it on the floor
And stomp on it 'till I die!!!!
(GASP!)
Then spend... one more minute... with you
