First attempt at uploading so I do hope it works ... just picked up my new D chanter from Andy Faden - a slinky little number in ebony and brass with surface-mounted Cnat and Fnat keys ...
a couple of close ups :
the keys ....
the reed .... (note the brass seat and cork lining ... very nice!)
the body ....
and the complete collection (as it currently stands ...)
L to R Nick Adams keyless C in ?rosewood, Alan Ginsberg 5-keyed C in boxwood, Arie de Keyser 4-keyed D (plus stop key) in ebony and the new Andy Faden 2-keyed D.
The Ginsberg has a little friend - a side tenor drone by Eugene Lambe, which will have to do till I get a proper flat set!
Now I will get back to packing for WCSS ... see you there (if you're going!)
