Why are fipple and chiff considered...
How come those words are not considered to be spelled correctly or not considered words at all?
I say let us start a petition for Webster's Dictionary or The Oxford Dictionary to amend this.

Good. Embrace your special place in life.
I'll tell you, it gives me satisfaction to have things like Spellcheck red-line perfectly good words, and I'm like, Hah. Poor, ignorant Spellcheck. How beige your life must be.

Hey! I resemble that remark!Nanohedron wrote:Look. Spellcheck is geared for normal people. Normal people don't use "chiff" or "fipple" in their sentences. Face it, The_Celtic_Bard: you're not normal. None of us are. None.

Do we need a dictionary entry for Chiff or Fipple? Or "Chiff and Fipple"? Does anyone worry on this board that they'll accidentally type "Chuff and Fopple"? Or "Piff and Tibble"?
I forgot. It's not "Chiff and Fipple". It's "Chiff & Fipple." Damn that ampersand!
