Happy Independence Day!
To all my fellow Americans, wherever you may be, I hope you have a safe and happy 4th!
To all my friends who hail from other lands, please join us in our celebration if you wish, or at least, please take no offense.
And wherever you are, whoever, whatever you may be, please be careful and be safe, and have a safe, sane, and happy holiday.
Best wishes to all,
James Peeples,

It's worth trying Chinatown in London (Gerrard St & Wardour Street). They tend to have fireworks all year round. In fact you can get them through the toyshops or hardware shops if you order them.avanutria wrote:I wish they sold sparklers here in July. I think if they do sell them I'll have to wait till late October.
We're having a barbecue tonight in the back garden/yard/patio!

Well, perhaps you can have your own private 4th of July (secretly of course) during Guy Fawkes Day.avanutria wrote:I wish they sold sparklers here in July. I think if they do sell them I'll have to wait till late October.
