Of these, which is your favorite? There is no other.

Here's a link to a wiki article that I didn't fully read. I didn't have to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruit_preserves#Chutney

Many people nowadays think marmalade is nicer. Would you like to try a little marmalade instead?

What about lemon curd?

Myself, I don't go for the sweet stuff. Butter and/or peanut butter.

Curd had too much other stuff going on with it. Neither butter or peanut butter are fruit based.

Have had good versions of most of them, unfortunately the best ones were usually home made and only a jar here and there. Some serrano/raspberry jam I had this year was particularly good. Store bought marmalade and apple butter is what normally end up getting.

And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

Marmalade. I like marmalade.
Yes. It's a quote. Just like Emmline's.

Otherwise known as 'camelade', I'm reliably informed. Is that really where it comes from? I can't say I'm astonished, frankly.

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Ugh! I hate them. I do have sardines in oil on toast as a treat for breakfast on Saturday mornings. :)
