A Toast!
Of these, which is your favorite? There is no other.
Here's a link to a wiki article that I didn't fully read. I didn't have to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruit_preserves#Chutney

Re: A Toast!
Many people nowadays think marmalade is nicer. Would you like to try a little marmalade instead?

Re: A Toast!
What about lemon curd?
Myself, I don't go for the sweet stuff. Butter and/or peanut butter.

Re: A Toast!
Curd had too much other stuff going on with it. Neither butter or peanut butter are fruit based.chas wrote:What about lemon curd?

Re: A Toast!
Have had good versions of most of them, unfortunately the best ones were usually home made and only a jar here and there. Some serrano/raspberry jam I had this year was particularly good. Store bought marmalade and apple butter is what normally end up getting.

There are some really horrible pseudo-marmalades out there.

And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

Marmalade. I like marmalade.

Otherwise known as 'camelade', I'm reliably informed. Is that really where it comes from? I can't say I'm astonished, frankly.weedie wrote:Hey Mute ...you forgot to add Vegemite to the list :poke: .. :) .

Ugh! I hate them. I do have sardines in oil on toast as a treat for breakfast on Saturday mornings.bogman wrote:Sardines in tomato sauce!
