Yeah, with Leo Rickard, I got a lot from that class! It’ll be good to see you again and have a tipple :slight_smile: Have you been playing for the Queen at all lately? Is Dave coming over with you this year?

I am having terrible trouble finding a place to stay though! I had a spot out beside the Armada but a relative of the B&B owner passed away so she isn’t doing B&B this year :frowning: I need something within a mile or two of the town, we have a car but don’t want to be driving all over the world. It’d be nice to have it sorted before I arrive.

The Hughes’ on the WCSS website won’t reply to my emails, I tried calling a few times and they said they’d email me with a place and I never heard back from them. Anyone have any leads?

Pat..Jims place is in Gort,I’m not doing classes this year so I wasnnae gonna go into Miltown every day but if you have wheels its about 1/2 hour drive you could always crash with us but I have to warn you its a bit basic.Well very basic really,there is no leckie,water or toilets.But you can use the cow byre for a shite and the water is collected in a butt from the rainwater (no shortage of that) oh yes there are no beds either,Jim has the only bed so we sleep on the floor.But hey its home!!!
No I haven’t played for the Queen lately but I did for the Taoiseach not long back.(I did go back to Stirling Castle with the Queens Writ and played there by Royal Appointment) but I’ll tell ye more about that when I see ye.Davy won’t be coming I haven’t really seen him for about 4 years!!So there will be Me Jim a girl from Larne(Georgie) and some fella called Rick who I don’t know.So if your stuck let me know and I’ll ask Jim he’ll be OK.

Thanks for the offer though Liam. I’ll wait and see if anything pans out, Gort is a bit far 'cos myself and another fella will be going to the classes… nice Gort sessions though… one of my favourite bootleg tapes is of a session in Gort… I suppose it’d be called “The Gort Session” or something :wink:
