Union pipes on Ebay

The other post about this half set got a little off topic (last post I read was going on about Tammy Winette).

Does anyone know anything about the half set in question. Apart from the fact it is not correctly assembled, it seems to be all there. Does it resemble the work of any known pipemakers?

$700 for a half set is really cheap if it’s made by a known maker.

STOP! It’s a crap set! The topic changed for a reason!

PD.

Wasn’t it figured the set was made by a guy named Stan? First name Paki?

Any time you see a 1/2 set for $700.00 US, that should tip you off that the set is most likely a piece of poo poo… and in this case, it most certainly is. No self respecting pipemaker would sell a 1/2 set for that amount.

And as I said in the last posting… there is no real topic to this topic.

“…it seems to be all there”

It may be “all there”, but it’s a long way from “all that”.
And any resemblance to the work of known pipemakers is purely coincidental.

If you own an Irish pub and are looking for a wall ornament, those PakIrish pipes are great.

it is the half set version of the practice set i started with

it is pakistani

the bellows and the bag to my practice set are well made, and the chanter with pakistani reed i still keep as my “ol’ stand by spare” to my childress chanter to this day…

had i the money, i would have picked it up as a spare travel set and then ebayed my practice set…

Nope, it is (I believe) an earlier design… and quite useless, unless you need kindling or a dog’s toy.

How much for the shoe? Would that include the other for a pair?

Sorry, djm. That’s one shoe, one aluminum crutch! (See right of pic). :stuck_out_tongue:
