SPONGE

$1,800 buy it now on the Williams

I don’t think this one will last long

Anybody here played a Wilkes Pratten?
I wonder how they compare to the
Olwells, Hammys, et al.

yep…not long

one day and just under 15 minutes

Didn’t Jessie buy this Wilkes a few years ago? I think it looks like the same one?

Looks like Ebay has pulled the Wilkes already. The seller had a decent amount of feedback. Maybe a hacked account?

Maybe the seller got a good offer off eBay.

The seller did state that there was no buy it now price, and wrote (so dont ask.)

everyone has there price

Sponge

Ebay sent an alert message that it was pulled by them, so I don’t know what was up…

This is for anyone familiar with Williams flutes.

If you read the thread above, both people who own Williams flutes mention block mounted keys. However, the flute on ebay has post-mounted keys.
Does anyone know why this might be other than the possibility that the flute on ebay is not a Williams?

somewhat…here is a post with post mounted keys

picture of the flute

the ebay flute looked like a Dave Williams Pratten to me, given that I’m just seeing pictures.

The key work is somewhat different from the one I have, however the differences are minor.
