I have an Irish D flute made by Hervieux, Glet, and Rieux in Brittany, France. I’ve used it in a session for a while but it’s a smaller conical bore, so on the quiet, warm side. No gouges, scratches, or dings. Has a long tuning slide. Made of cocobolo. Very cool looking flute. Have to tighten up embochure to get high a and b. Comes with a plastic , padded case. Good for a beginner. Looking to trade for a session honkin delrin/polymer or folk flute. Pm me and I’ll send photos.
I traded for a Copley delrin. Thanks Sillydill.
My thanks also to Jordan – I was sore tempted to offer my Copley Delrin just to try this one out. But then I’d have had to get another Copley.
