Sweet sounding, Rare, stunningly beautiful (this particular rosewood looks like none I’ve seen before), and incredibly responsive, even for a Rose - keep in mind I’ve owned 4.
I don’t want to do it, but I must sell this amazing whistle: $350 + $10 for shipping and insurance. Contact me via e-mail if interested.
I do have an offer for the whistle that’s just a bit below my asking price, so I figured I’d give folks one last crack at it before I take the Rose off the market.
Hey, if I slap an Oak sticker on it, would you be more interested in buying Brett?
Give it to me at the price of an Oak, and it’s sold!
Truthfully, I’ve been agonizing over this whistle. I really want a Rose. Really really want one.
But, it’ll probably be another 2-3 months before I can afford to shell out $300 for a whistle again. If the whistle’s still available then, and you still need the money, Loren, I’ll definitely want it.

Ha! Fair play on that one!

I feel kinda bad Greg, you keep missing out on all these nice whistles OTH, I certainly understand the economics all too well. I’m sure you’ll get yourself a Rose one way or the other, and I have no doubt you find it was worth the wait.
Cheers,
Loren

Well, it’s not your fault, it can’t be helped. I could come up with the money, sure…but I’m not 20 any more..and I’ve got a wife and kid, so I gotta do the responsible thing and put my finances back on track before I go spending any whistle money. I know you wouldn’t be parting with some of these beauts if you didn’t really need to.
That said, I will be gettin a Rose some day…since they came out, with clips on Clips and Snips, they’ve supplanted my interest in O’Roirdans, Abells, and Weasels. The Rose will likely be my next Big Whistle Purchase.
