Funny, i was just looking at that. Asking price is a little high, i think. Nice piece, though. Might be worth a drive across Alligator Alley to try it out.
He also has a D-hole gallatin with integral FB (like my hyalite or the bridger) he’s asking $2000 for. Loren Bailey was selling a similar one for $1700, which seemed like a better deal.
Still neither is as crazy a price as the $1300 custom Absaroka – that was truly a steal.
Yup, not surprised someone snatched that Absaroka up.
Ya never know on that Bridger, he may come down on the price when no one bites. I also think his asking price is a bit high, at $1400-1500 it would start looking attractive though. Well, not to me, as I’m out of spending mode for a while, but that axe has your name written all over it, heh, heh.

BTW, did you see the silly price on that Kentucky Mandola
And man, that Flatiron pancake got snapped up fast, sheesh.
Loren
Yeah, i definitely like the Bridgers, and if it came down to $1400, i’d be inclined to go for it.
The upper-end 80’s Kentuckys were made by Sumi, if i’m not mistaken. So the prices tend to be higher than you might expect for an Asian import. I think there were only 20-some-odd Kentucky Dawg models made, for example, all of them coming from Sumi’s shop.
Still, i wonder if we won’t see the price come down some… 'dolas generally don’t move so fast, even from the boutique builders.
At $3200, I’d think he’d have to come down a long way, before getting a bite, unless there’s a hard core Kentucky collector out there looking to buy. I’d be surprised if he can get $2500.
