I have started to meet with the new U of Idaho student organization for Highland pipers. Right now, we are simply trying to learn the bagpipe fingerings, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a whistle that has the bagpipe fingerings to use as a practice chanter.
I still have most of the 100 fipples I ordered once. They were originally meant for slide whistles, but the manufacturer sold me the minimum order of 100 at 25¢ each. They fit water pipes, so I usually make whistles out of copper.
