for a friend of mine i’m looking for a non-irish (he doesn’t like itm) keyless flute.
We have seen a lot of bamboo flute, and they are very good, but he would like to buy a polymer/plastic flute to start.
The budget is around 100$
do you someone that built polymer renaissance flute, rafi or bassano models?
What Peter said. Just because a flute is canonically typical of the tradition, it’s not as if it will make you play Irish music on it against your will. FWIW.
Right. At that budget I’m thinking you’d have to go with PVC tubing flutes. Some of these can be actually quite good. But if memling’s friend insists on anything more than that - particularly if the instrument is going to be any good - I’m afraid his hopes are unrealistic for the money.
i’ve done a mistake writing the first message, 100$ is my budget to buy a cheap plastic flute (a Tipple probably), for an ipotetic polymer renaissance flute i can spend 300-400$
