One for the moderators or Dale. There is a discussion going on over at thesession.org about the whereabouts of the the C&F ‘Main Website’. The link on the forum header just leads back to the forum. I don’t recall an announcement but I may have missed it.
I saw that discussion, David. And I also saw your question about when was the last time new content was added. I think that, although in a way I shouldn’t really speak for Dale, calling the other site “the C&F Main Website” has become a bit of a misnomer; or possibly an anachronism. As far as I know, no new content has been added to that site for a very long time. It doesn’t really do anything any more, and many of the links were either defunct or had been hijacked by spammers etc. Websites need maintaining, and - Dale, please correct me if I’m wrong - I don’t think Dale has done anything to that site for years.
This site, the forums, with the discussions, and a huge amount of good information available to anyone who seeks, should I think be regarded these days as “the main site”. I enjoyed Dale’s individual and quirky humour over on the other site, and it was a good resource at the time. But now, I think there’s vastly more information available here, and up to date too.
There hasn’t been an announcement. I imagine - again, I could be wrong - that Dale has simply looked at the task of cleaning up the other site and has decided there’s just too much to do.
You will note from the above that the Administrators/Moderators of this site (the forums), of whom I’m one, are not also involved in the other site - that is Dale’s preserve.
I recall a posting shortly sometime after I joined the whistle forum stating the difficulty of maintaining everything on the entire website. So the decision AFAICR was the main website would be left as an archive without further additions updating that part, while the forums would continue as the current updated C&F. The main website may have been archived away on the waybackmachine or some such entity. Maybe not. Its been since I joined forum so only within four years ago.

Geez, makes me feel like an old-timer and I’m still kind of newbee-ish. 
Thanks Ben. I hadn’t looked at it for years but in the back of my mind I knew that some of the pages in the ‘engineering department’ where there if I needed them. Maybe something like that was being sought on this occasion. I have always been careful to point people to the forum directly.
