Lunasa comes to Denver and Crawford teaching classes

for those of you who are in the area, Lunasa is due to play a small venue here in the Denver area (Lafayette) on Labor Day, Sept. 2, through promoter Ann Marie Kennedy. She’s been terrific in getting players such as Frankie Gavin to perform in intimate settings and to give lessons during their stay. Crawford is scheduled to give flute lessons on the 2&3, and I’m sure others in the band will do likewise.
Anyway, for anyone interested in getting in on the fun (and I’m sure it will be), drop me a private email and I’ll pass along Ann Marie’s email contact.

anyway, i hear that Kevin is also to give some bodhran and whistle lessons for anyone wanting, and Sean will so same with Fiddle and whistle.
The other boys…well…I imagine they’ll be showing some tricks as well.
I hear that Sean’s schedule was the first booked up.

Loren…If I recall, you are in Florida somewhere. Lunasa will be near Tampa this next Spring, if you can wait that long:

Thanks man, that date wasn’t listed on Lunasa’s website last time I checked (a few months back). If I’m still here in Florida at the time of the show, I will DEFINITELY be there! Tarpon Springs is actually only about a 50 minute drive from where I live.
