I love the sound of that flute!
Tell us about it. What sort of flute?
Best wishes,
Jerry

It sounds like you’re having a lot of fun with your new group of friends…I’m really happy for you! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Blessings to you, Shannon, and the ferrets!
It’s been a rough, bad, scary year. Moving to these old mountains and finding such friendly and talented new friends has really felt like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! And that goes for the Irish sessions AND for the rock-n-roll guys, so if any of the Nomads are reading this, I didn’t forget’cha, guys.
Blessings on you, Lady. Your friendship means a lot to us!
Love and Blessings always,
–James & Shannon & Three Snerty Ferrets
P.S. The lead guitarist on this tune is actually Pat McReynolds from Texarkana. He sometimes drives up to Hot Springs to play with us there. It is always wonderful to see him, catch up on old times, and play the old familiar tunes we used to knock out every week–like this one. He’s a wonderful man and an extremely talented musician with his own unique style. Pat, Shannon, and I have been welcomed into this large group of musicians with open arms, and have already formed some very close friendships with some truly wonderful people.
Out-freakin-standing.
I love the chord changes at the end of the A part and the way you “smack” those 5ths. Wow.
