FS: Sweetheart D flute--Sold

This is a very nice Cherrywood sweetheart flute in D.
It plays very well, it’s in tune, it has good volume, a
pleasing woody sound, it’s light and it’s nice to look at.
It’s in new condition except for some slight wear
on the red yarn on the tenon. Ralph soaks these
in tung oil so that they tend to be impervious
to moisture and very stable. These are tough flutes.
The holes are medium size
and the flute is easy to finger.

If you’re looking for something to start with, this is a
good choice.

200 dollars, shipping included for N. America.
This saves you about 100 bucks.

Here is a picture of the flute from the Sweetheart page,

It’s the third down in the picture. Mine looks better.
It’s a richer salmon-brown color.

I’m selling it cause I’m not playing it enough.
I’m now playing mostly keyed flutes and I’m getting
thumb holes put in, etc.

When was it made?

Not sure.
I got it from a board member about a year ago
and haven’t much played it. It hadn’t been
much played before I got it, by appearances.
Two years?
