Wow that kid is going to have some issues with that set!
For one thing the chanter needs holes drilled in it!
We have here a tiny little “Irish Gift Shop” full of maudlin cards like that, and dozens of St Patrick statues in ceramic and resin, and all sorts of corny stuff. I might stop by there today and play a few tunes out in front. The owners are wonderful people who go to my church.

I suppose some have started off that way. And came out alright.

God and Mary to you.
I’ve been listening to Sirius/XM satellite radio today out of curiosity; they have a one-day St. Patrick’s Day radio station (#28 if anyone wants to know). Their choice of “Irish” music is interesting to say the least - including “Loch Lomond”, piping in the haggis, Dropkick Murphys, etc. The odd gem of Horslips dropped in, and the obligatory Chieftans. I guess it’s all the one to them.

At least RTE are giving us Darby O Gill and the Little People followed by The Quiet Man today.
Last seen driving the snakes out of Australia.

I’ll hope to buy a shamrock shake.
