I actually got to hold and have a blow on one of these years ago chez Paul Davis, but it had leaky keys and I wasn’t playing well either, so didn’t get a huge amount from the experience, unfortunately. Plus I was far more interested in the stunning ivory baroque flute he had at that time… with which I totally fell in love!
