Dublin Irish Festival

So - who’s going? We’ll be there with harpmaker, demonstrating playing Celtic music on mountain dulcimer.

Imagine that. Irish in Dublin. Gosh! :boggle:

I don’t see any Irish instruments like harp or UPs, but at least they have Advanced Bodhrán. I guess that makes it authentic.

there will be harps for sale - Dave will have some, and, shoot, I can’t remember his name - from Rising Sun, IN

added - remembered - William Reece (I think that’s the spelling).

I’ll be there Friday night and possibly Saturday afternoon.

Here’s my roundup of last year’s festival.

Talk about poor planning. I am coming out to Milford, OH on Monday. If I had been smart I could have come out on Friday and stayed at my Grandson’s place in Worthington. Rats!!!

Burke usually has a booth with all the whistles to try, I’m swinging through on Sunday after picking up my kid from camp and we’ll be there Sunday afternoon/evening to hear Gaelic Storm. I really really hope to get there in time to catch the Kells but I think we’ll be too late. If you’re going, catch the Kells for sure.

AH- Ron - that IS too bad!

We’re on the west side of Cincinnati (Milford, as you now, is on the east side), but if you are going to be in town a while, perhaps we can get together. PM or email if you’d like.
