After spending way too much time pouring over the schedule for two dozen artists and 7 venues, I figured out that if one were to go tonight (
Saturday) at around 6, one could catch the Cherish the Ladies, Liz Carroll, and Eileen Ivers performances with only a teensy bit of overlap and a lot of hustle.
Look for me there if you go.
Nah - but we’ll be in Dublin (Ohio) in two weeks for theirs.
We’ll be in the Music Exhibition tent with harpmaker - look us up if you go.
Cannot go to Dublin for the weekend but I’m hoping to take Grey Larsen’s whistle class the Wed and Thurs before.
Just got back from the Fest. Left early because of rain. Only saw Eileen Ivers and Emigrant Soul, but it was worth it. Plus I tasted my first bridie. Yum.
I didn’t make it at all this year. (boo-hoo) It seemed like nearly everybody I know had some event that I was obliged to go to. Not that I didn’t want to go but didn’t they know it was the Irish fest weekend? Sheesh!.
