I’m sure Mark will correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that this set was made for a piper named A. J. Mullin (there is a little silver plate on it in the shape of a harp upon which is name is inscribed). The set is wonderful and I have to pleasure to see and hear it on a regular basis (Mark is my teacher).

I believe there exists a photo of said AJ Mullin. Does anyone know who he was? A resident prehaps of New York or Philadelphia?
By the way, my offer of $500 still stands. Plus, I’ll throw in 3 winter tyres, some bailing twine and a 4-year-old piebald cob that answers to the name of “Rumsfelt”.
David is sending the chanter back, and it is included. There are pictures of the chanter in the “Pictures of your pipes” thread. The bass regulator, which is included, was presumably made by Hutton. There is no Taylor bellows with the set.
I put new pads on the keys, put sleeves the regulator bores in the mainstock out of thin walled brass, made a new loop section for the bass drone, a new teneon section for the baritone drone, put old reeds in the drones and some shite reeds in the regulators and then just played the crap out of them for a few decades.
