CP: Rover Tour- Try before you buy!

I am thinking of sending a couple of Rovers, my new three piece pocket whistles, on a tour of the USA. One would have a copper fipple and the other Delrin. Participants would have an option to purchase one of the tour whistles, in which case I would send a replacement to the next stop on the tour.

Send me an email, to david_at_obrienwhistles.com, if you are interested.

There are still openings on the Rover tour.

Why not send a couple to Europe as well?

I will, if there’s enough interest. Europeans, email me at david_at_obrienwhistles.com if you want to be on a European Rover tour.

The US tour will start in the next week. I still need a few more people for the European one.

I’ve written about the European tour.

Might it be possible to send a non-nickel-plated as one of the two? I’m interested to see if it plays any differently or is just cosmetic. Plus I’m still not sure if I might have a minor nickel allergy.

It looks to be a very interesting concept - sort of a non-telescoping Laughing. Even telescoped, the 6.5" of a laughing is just slightly too long to fit well in a pocket, so the 4" of the Rover should fit nicely.

I have one, and yes, it fits nicely in a pocket.

Just to let people know that the UK tour whistles arrived safely in London today.
