  1. I have put another chromatic whistle/converted piccolo on eBay:

The last one went in a day on a buy-it-now, so act fast if you want one! There is a new sound sample, The Liberty Bell March, on my website, to show how it handles accidentals.

  1. I just came by a small amount of purpleheart that has been aging for 45 years, since my father-in-law brought it back from Trinidad. I have enough for five or so whistles. It’s beautiful dense, dark wood with none of the whitish streaks that recently bought purpleheart can have.

  2. I have improved the mouthpiece of my narrow-bore brass whistle. It is now all Delrin. It had a layer of brass before. I will put pictures on my website soon.

I love my O’Brien whistles. They are my fav wooden ones.
