sorry, but couldn't resist. Similar to my previous post but this time it's somewhat different.
Suppose you are suddenly to be taken to a remote planet by some little green men, and fot some strange reason the chief officer (?) offers you a choice of ONLY ONE soprano D whistle you can take with you. Which whistle would that be?

Seems rather discriminatory against us folks who prefer low-D's, doesn't it?On 2003-02-12 02:10, Tak_the_whistler wrote:

I guess I'd have to choose my Chieftain Gold high-D. It's not the best I have for jigs and reels, but it's truly wonderful for the slow airs.
Besides, it's sturdy as hell, which means I could beat the tar out of the little green man for not letting me bring my low-D.

home made copper for me.
"It's at times like this I wish I'd listened to what my mother said."
"Why? what did she say?"
"Don't know - I didn't listen!"

Cronnolly D, especially if I can sneak both model heads along with me.
I'd try to have my Oak hidden somewhere too, though--lovely whistle, that!
Best,

It would have to be my Copper Parkhurst. It would also be a good weapon especially if I was hitting that High B in "Oh Danny Boy" while practicing for my St. Patrick's Day program.
I would also have my Serpent Brass hid in my back pocket though because I would miss it too much to leave it behind.
Cheers!
