Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

yes, what exactly is the nexus between what you MIGHT like and the question of greatness of a particular musician?
Did you mean to imply a nexus between the two?
I had to look up "nexus". I see it's a poncey word for "link". I bet Flatley uses the word.

You did not.
I wrote:(...The diptych is a tour de force of wooing the camera, if I may be so bold).
BTW, I hope everyone appreciates how my choice of words kept it clean, here.

You know, I think "woo" must be one of the un-Frenchest of words, when you think about it.

I's still tryin' ta figure out why ya said he was hinged :-?

This is draggin' on a bit as my neighbor has suffered a serious breach in his parameter containment and is leaking cows, steers, etc. My horses are not amused.

Carry on

A point of subtley, and well played. First to point out that Warhol's Marilyn Diptych is not hinged. Flatley's two images here have no hingement. I have, with Warholian precedent as my shield, also called the Flatley arrangement a diptych. But that is all: therefore I have not said that Flatley was hinged, or unhinged. That is another matter, and ground upon which I should not presume to tread.

I thought it said he was hanged. I can cancel the order for flowers.

Best wishes.
