X-ray and CT Scans of a Rudall & Rose

Post by kkrell »

Courtesy of Gerry Strong, I have posted many of his photos of a Rudall & Rose, Patent Head w/Bb foot on the "Wooden Flute Obsession" fan page on Facebook. Includes an X-ray of the entire flute, normal pic, and some CT scans of flute sections, as well as cross-sections.

Picture a bright blue ball just spinning, spinning free
It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.

That is so cool!

A CT scan from the side would be great, so that we can see the bore profile...the X-ray is kinda undetailed, unfortunately.

You can see the bore in the X-Ray, too.

Ah, that's better. The pic on facebook is rather small. Thanks!

What kind of insurance does the flute have?
