Hey, look west!

At least from here (U.S. East.) Great night time sky featuring a waxing crescent moon and Venus.

That was clearly visible here in England from about 17:30 GMT.

Very impressive.

Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

If it weren't for the blowing snow I'd say that was a storm cloud coming in.

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

Oh, I thought maybe you saw me waving.

-It was fine. I saw it from an area of countless freeway ramps and the sight took the edge off the concrete vista. Its a clear night in the Seattle area.- With any luck Denny will post a delectable astrophoto of tonight's view.

Aye, 'twas good. The old moon in the new moon's arms. And Venus nearby.
