Here are my cutie-pies; Tiger is the tabby and Shiner is the dilute calico:

Mustang Sally, All Along the Watchtower (ala Hendrix), and on and on.....
It was Christmas eve, late, after church and there was a jam session in my brother's basement-
Scott, down from MD on drums, Edward lead vocals and lead guitar, Andy on bass, and all backing up the newest addition to "the band", Lil on tambourine. (she kept perfect timing with them on every tune until she got so tired she was laying in a chair hitting the tambourine with her foot, still keeping time...

It would be purdier with a small Diptera stuck in a drop of Drosera mucilage.

Remarkably captured with a decent expression on all the human faces, but just prior to a breach of cooperation from the critters.

Especially considering, the camera was set up on a ladder, with a timer, we tried to keep the cat and dog calm for about 15 minutes, neither was very happy, and we were screaming at the children to SMILE NICELY!! Somehow, all that stress didn't seem to get captured in the pic. But thank God it's over (the pic session and the holiday).

Your family looks very nice. Glad to see the boy had just enough time to jump into the picture from his late night out on the town.

My oldest daughter Rachel lives near the campus of the college where she is a graduate, graduate student, and employee.
She and her housemates have chickens which were evicted (as surplus) from the nearby organic farm (where she also works part time.)
The 4 small bantams are the latest acquisition, and grew from hatchlings under a heatlamp in the bathtub, until they were large enough to
live with the other hens. They will not get bigger.
Although there is 1 non-vegetarian in the household, these chickens just donate eggs to the food supply.

Here, Rachel just tossed a box of yard greens into the chicken yard.

These two banty hens are Geraldine and Azalea:

This is Sebastian. It was impossible to tell at first, but 2 of the 4 banties turned out to be roosters:
