Scalloped is standard Irish fare (amongst other things).

I'd try cooked wild mushrooms down the center. I like peanut butter, Miracle Whip and bacon sandwiches, sometimes with tomatoes and head lettuce, too.

Lay down a layer of sliced ham before the cheese, then sprinkle on some crumbled cooked Jimmy Dean sausage. What the heck -- might as well toss some sauteed red and green bell peppers (or something hotter if you hanker for it) and onions on before you roll it up. Save all the bacon grease in that skillet, toss in some flour to make some tasty bacony roux and stir up some of that Oklahoma grandma country gravy to pour on top.

It will make your coat shine.

It's the artistry of the weaving isn't it? We're having this for Christmas Breakfast, we stuffing it with omelet. Biscuits on the side.

Why not frost it with a cream cheese and spam icing and serve as a decorative Christmas Log . What a special and festive centrepiece for your Christmas dinner guests to enjoy. Garnish with drizzles of bacon fat colourized with green food colouring and red pimento.

Okay, I think I just made myself sick here...

Liquor Snob
Lightly mist martini glass with vermouth, and rim the edge with bacon grease. In a cocktail shaker, mix 3oz vodka, one dash tobasco, and one dash olive juice. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. Skim excess bacon grease from surface of cocktail. Garnish with one slice of bacon.

Being a six CABG survivor I can not ethically provide bacon recipes, it is an widely unknown fact that bacon grease goes straight to the coronary arteries. Luckily alcohol dilutes bacon grease if it is consumed at the same time. So here it is. Candy the bacon by sprinkling brown sugar over a slice and bake until crisp. Mix vodka, applejack with splash of amaretto and maple syrup. Shake until your fingers get frost nip. Serve in chilled glass topped with bacon. To make it more deadly salt the rim of the glass with more sodium nitrate before serving. BTW the recipe is legit.

What's a CABG?

With a cheese or omelet filling, I would recommend a non-sweet batter. If you really need this sweet, go for it. I always add vanilla or almold extract to my batter for a deeper taste.

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft also known as a cabbage, great with kielbasa and potatoes, in fact kielbasa is much like bacon or garlic, everything tastes better with kielbasa.

I had a quadruple bypass. I think having a 6 bypass is being selfish, 4 is plenty. I've never heard it called that.
