I'm on Facebook, I use my real name as I do here. Never been very good at the cloak and dagger stuff.

I'm the Martin Milner in London. I was suprised how many others there are, and we formed a club.

I use Facebook to keep track of friends who live in different timezones.

I have a facebook page, where i mostly keep up with old high school friends. I think i have a couple dozen. This is a recent trend..previously, I only had 3 or 4 facebook friends.

My myspace page, by comparison, has a couple hundred friends, most of which I actually know.

I'm on facebook but I mostly use it to keep tabs on my relatives who are scattered across the globe (ok, most of the scattering is me). I don't add everyone I am friends with, so please don't be insulted if I don't respond to someone's request!

I'm on Facebook! I didn't know there were other Chiffsters (besides Izz, of course I knew she was there). I just found Emm, because I was sneaky. Oh, all right... really, I just looked at Izz's page. :P

I'm on there too. A friend joined to keep tabs on his kids, and asked if I was there, so I joined a few months ago.

I think it's faster to upload photos on Facebook than it is on Webshots.

Last name is Emerson, if you want to look.

As if there'd ever be any doubt about that one ;)

MarMil was pretty easy to find in the end, although he's not the only MarMil in London. That just seems odd to me. Is it like a prerequisite to name a child Martin when you have the last name Milner?

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

I'm on facebook too. I fought it for a while, and originally only got involved with it because Mrs. Badger was pretty into it and I thought her page was cute. But I have gotten in touch with lots of old college friends whom I hadn't heard from in a decade or more, and that's kind of fun. Most of my "friends" are people I actually know, either from college or from church stuff, who live in other towns.

I like "mouse hunt," too.

Feel free to look me up. I'm the Tom Wilson with the Indy-Palin picture.

Azalin wrote:Yeah to me Facebook is great to connect to people you havent seen for a long time, and stay in touch with far away friends you'd normally not think about calling or emailing. I got a bunch of musician friends in there that live in England and Ireland and it's nice to be able to see what's going on in their lives sometimes, just by browsing a few pages.

I think some people are clearly obsessed with Facebook and will update their status and post pictures every hour or so, I think this is when it becomes a bit "sick".

"Loren is thinking about posting a reply to Azalin's C&F post."

"Loren is going to get his camera to take a picture of himself thinking about posting a reply to Azalin's C&F post"

"Loren got distracted on the way to find his camera and is now eating a slice of cold pizza.

"Loren doesn't like pizza with anchovies, but Loren thinks Pepperoni, Mushrooms, and Pineapple totally ROCKS a pie!!!"

"Loren has the feeling he forgot to do something and also thinks that pizza isn't sitting too well....."

"Loren is thinking that it is about time he updated his facebook status again because more than 30 seconds have already past and people REALLY need to know every little freakin' thing about every minute of my day, because honestly, it's all about ME."

"Loren is ending his C&F post now."

Anyway...if you are on Facebook and I have not sent you a friend request, it is probably because I err on the side of assuming you may not want a cluttered up friend list. No slights intended. :)
I like to have people on my list.

Just be careful how you phrase things.

FB (or F.B.) has a pretty nasty connotation here well established long before it would have been used in referring to a website.

Yes, I see. Why do I know so few people on that list?
