Unabashed self-promotion in the local web newspaper.

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

An excellent article which reflects the hard work you've had to put in. Well deserved.

Thanks for all of your kind comments on the article.

I was asked to submit some information for this article and the editor did what editors do and edited it a bit. I am very pleased with it however.

rgouette, I didn't have to travel far to take possession of my wife as she only lived three blocks away from me. Thanks for asking.

Cheers! Richard

Tommy,

No problems on being snarky. I am a bit of that myself!

You are absolutely correct though. This was a chance to get some great free advertising for my piping and I took advantage of the opportunity.

We'll see if I get any more phone calls now.

Cheers! Richard

Apart from the unfortunate reference to the b-----n, it was a very nice article indeed. :D

Nicely done,

Hey No "E",

Is it because you can't pronounce b____n or that you can't play one? Just curious :)

Say hi to all in LaLaLand for me!

Brazenkaine.... I am in all the pics. I'm the good looking one!

Obviously, I can't spell it  I'll just say that I can't make music on one and leave it at that. The LaLaLanders send their regards.
