And to think I never knew ... :o

Hey! Thanks for that! I never thought to see that again! Wow!

I always thought that was what the South was all about as kid, now I understand it's was just NASCAR.

My brother and I like watching the 1937 black & white version of Lost Horizon

And in the right scenes, singing the songs from the 1973 musical version of Lost Horizon

UHHHHHH. That ranks up with Leonard Nimoy's "Bilbo Baggins".
Are you kidding? That's not even close to the horribleness of Bilbo Baggins!

My confession:

I listen to a lot of 80s punk. Dead Kennedys, Subhumans, Minor Threat, etc.
Also a lot of modern 'celtic' punk, including Dropkick Murphys, The Tossers, Real McKenzies, and Flogging Molly.
I have no sound system on my motorcycle. I can frequently be found riding down I-20 singing at the top of my voice.
"Yes... yes. This is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... This Land."

Tell us something.: Longtime member of Chiff and Fipple. I own/have owned more whistles than a person should, I think. But I’m not complaining.

In my early teens I liked "Arizona":

I used to ride my bicycle singing the chorus to this classic:

A few years later I thought "Feelings" was a great song. (I probably am most ashamed of that one.)

I spent too much of my first year of college listening to Neil Diamond's "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8hL0BUK ... re=related "Makes you wonder why." Shoot me now.

Y'all are weird.

I like Coldplay.
Every time I turn around, I wonder where I've been.
Time to stop turning round, I guess.

First of all: All of you are very, very old.

Second of all: confession.

When I am sad, I sing songs from The Sound of Music.

Also, I'm a little attracted to Julie Andrews.

I know the words to all of Barry Manilow's greatest hits. And if you get a couple of drinks in me, I will sing them very loudly. And smile.

thanks. Now I have a lot of really BAD songs going through my head and probably will all day........

I'm 50

I've seen the Beach Boys in concert 15 times. I've seen them when all were there and alive. I've seen them when the only "Beach Boy" on the stage was Mike Love. My very first 45 that I purchased with my own money was "Help Me Rhonda". I wore out 2 copies of "Endless Summer".

Tell us something.: Long ago, I was told that I faked iTrad whistle work very well. I took that comment to heart. 20 years of private lessons - and many, many hours of rehearsal later - I certainly hope I have improved...

I've spent 62 years on this earth, and I am a true closet fan of Jim Steinman's songs. His material for Meatloaf is simply first-rate.

Flame time?

Best.
