Welsh Piping Club

Post by tritaffy »

Hi there , a few of us in South Wales have started to try and get a Welsh piping club going. It's very informal , we've met once which was great and mainly communicate via e-mail. Although the majority of us are based in South Wales , anyone in Wales is more than welcome to come along. If there's anyone in Wales who's isolated playing the pipes , drop me a pm. If anyone is travelling in Wales as well and wants to meet up , drop us a pm. All the best Mei

Hi,

Myself and a friend were going to try and re-establish the Birmingham pipers club, but we've never got it off the ground. I'm now moving to Ireland in July so I'm not sure if Birmingham or the West Mids in general will get a piping club in the near future.

Good luck in Wales. You probably know there are a couple of pipers in North Wales, Alan Moller, who also makes reeds and Alun Guinsberg who is a pipe maker.

If I'm ever passing through Wales with my pipes, I'll give you a shout.

Andy.
