Might tend to be one-sided, though. :)

At the left hand side of the entrance to one of the Business parks (there are five) in the village where I work, there is a left trainer. On the other side of the entrance, which is a wide one, is the right trainer.

Someday I might make up a story about it.

Sheesh... couldn't even get two responses before it turned political! Already it's "left vs right"!

When I see things like that, I often wonder if the owner . . . noticed . . . it was gone. Why didn't they go back for it? Were they so disgusted with their construction job that they flung . . . one . . boot out the car window? Just one, because they were disgusted with that job, but intended to get another? Perhaps a job half as challenging?

I try not to ponder this question too long.

It looks as if it is losing it's sole, to me.

That boot looks to be beyond repair, but, unless the owner lost a foot, what happened to the other one?

I usally toss both when one wears out, but I have been known to wear mis matched socks. I haven't gotten to the point of mis matched boots.

Well I am a little partial since I am the artist currently developing this project, or obsession you could say :) Thanks for posting about it, it is always really cool to see people discussing this since it is something that is very special to me. I am still amazed I got to be on CNN!! I am just a little nobody and I got to get on national TV! And be sure and stop b y my site to leave a comment or take my survey. I am also looking for people to submit lost shoe photos of their own. It is the interaction that breathes life into the One Shoe Diaries.

Safe Travels,
