Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

Tom
p.s. afterward, we drove on down into Jackson and stayed in a hotel with an outdoor hottub. Heaven.

Pretty! Cold...but pretty!

When I was growing up in Eastern Washington with snow up to my...er...never mind, we'd finish up a day like this with a big pot of chili. Outdoor hottub sounds even better!

Looks beautiful.

Reminds me of a winter break at Center Parcs, when snow was sliding off the dome into the outdoor swimmingpool while we were in it.

We haven't had good snow yet and I haven't seen anything that purty.

He probably bought the skis new when they first came out.

Beautiful views like that are the main thing I miss now that I'm in the warm, flat south. And snowmen.

Hey, now, I'm not that old!

The Mrs. got them at a local ski swap. They are extremely outdated--the kids at the golf course ski circles around me (and that has nothing to do with my skills!!! :really: ).

I keep them because:
1. they're cool for being made out of wood (I like wood)
2. they're cool for being made in Norway (I've never been to Norway, but I rather suspect I like it too)
3. They're cool because they're old. I like old fashioned things.
4. They cost $10 for both pairs. (I like cheap things, especially when they are also wooden, old fashioned, and from Norway :) )

Too cold lately to build snowmen. Nice powdery fluffy stuff--doesn't stick together worth crud. :)

Here's another one.

Beautiful.

More so because it's there and not here. (although I've taken the week off work so I wouldn't have to drive in it immediately, but it's predicted for tomorrow :) )

OK, this is making me dizzy. Think "flatlander" and explain how this happened.

You weren't on the edge of something, were you? There was, like, a lot of cropping on this photo, wasn't there????

No cropping. :) I took it from the edge of the trees. Below the edge of the picture, there's a big, open bowl maybe half a mile to a mile across, ending at the base of that mountain in the background. Nothing too scary, although some of the slopes are fairly steep and the wind was wicked, nasty, and evil!
