Something about this picture strikes me as really funny, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

Yeah, David, the robin picture is a couple months old, in case you're wondering. Just got around to downloading it off my camera.

Don't know why, there's just something funny about a bird perched on a barbeque grill. Is he suidical? Suffering from chilly bum? Paying his respects to all the chickens who gave their lives there? I don't know.

Hmm . . . I've examined it thoroughly from several different perspectives, and have to say that I really like the bird. He has an interesting expression on his face. Crop it a bit and it would make a nice calendar photo.

But it's not funny.

It's a bird perched on a BBQ grill next to a woodpile.

Maybe the humor is a guy thing?

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

That's a very nice farm picture, too. All that snow and all . . . nice. Rustic.

I'm wondering, though, why you didn't have that horse on the left stand a bit more to the right? His head got cut off. :-?

Isn't this just so typical of many family vacation snaps?

No, Lamby, you don't understand. It's so cold that horse's head just froze up and fell clean off!

And speaking of clean, Nano, I have a big dog who likes to look in and see what we're up to. Frequently. I clean the windows once in a while, but really gave up trying long ago--There ain't enough Windex in the world.

Does the dog fog up the window and then lick it to see in again? People without dogs just don't understand those funny marks on the inside of my 4-Runner.

Alright, for the birders out there, is that robin male or female?
I say female.
