Whistle sellers I trust

Post by The Weekenders »

What occurs to me from Dale's latest warnings, is that a positive list from long-term chiffsters may be of some use, assuming nobody dies and someone assumes their identity. Long-term posters have usually bought and sold a lot of whistles, or witnessed various dust-ups and drawn their own conclusions.

That said, the celebrated Weekender has either done business, met and/or trusts implicitly the following folks by their words and deeds:

Loren
Tony Higgins
blackhawk
jkrazy
Wanderer
Whatever Norcal calls himself these days since he moved to Idaho
Nanohedron
Bloomfield
Tom Dowling
Dcrom
Leslie (from San Jose)
Eskin
murphystout (though departed from Board)
Feadogin (Justine)
Susanfx
NancyF
Walden
Moonlight
MartinMilner/Avanutria
Tyghress
CarolSkinner,now Carrie

(Alan
Dale
rich (of course I had to add them in))

Builders of course:
Mike Burke
Mack Hoover
Jerry Freeman
Reynaldo Reyburn
Dave Parkhurst (tho retired, methinks)
DON'T IMPLY ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT OTHER BUILDERS NOT LISTED, I JUST DON'T HAVE ANY HISTORY WITH 'EM.

You may safely do business with these folks, imho.

I'll add more when I hit my forehead and say "D'oh" Apologies to those I forgot in the first pass.

Make YOUR list and post, especially if you own at least the smoking jacket. Maybe it will help newbies.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I'm most gratified that I got billing over Bloomfield.

Nevertheless.

But this is a good list. I think they're all reliable indeed (not a vote for myself, but I'm happy to see myself listed, too, and will strive to live up to it). And certainly there are more. :)

There, there dj...he did say "whistle sellers" I trust. I comfort myself with the knowledge that--having never sold a whistle--I rightfully do not belong on that list.

Oh, dear. I'd trust you, too. I hope this won't become a mess.

I would add Michael Burke to any whistle-sellers list. Top notch quality instruments and service.
