Dammit, Dionys! You just had to go and ruin the myth, didn't you? Now there are pipers all over the world that are crying their eyes out.

I regretfully must confirm that at the present time, I am not a shapely Chinese woman.

There is a photo somewhere of me in a short leopard-print dress and black stilletto-heeled boots, but for better or worse, it seems to have mysteriously disappeared...

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

I also like the idea of the topic, makes the whole thing a lot less impersonal. So here's myself with my Wooff Bb set, the best thing I've bought for a long long time...
More details :
Name: Olivier (oliver for my English-speaking friends, much easier...) Rime
Location: The French Ardennes (not a bad place to live)
Occupation : English teacher

Camera tricks or not...that's still a big piece of wood! Not as much wood as that Bb set Oliver has though...I bet it sounds great.

Does look like I'm in smite mode. Outstanding observation, Pile. I thought about holding one of my piccolos instead, creating the impression that I'm ca. 15 ft./4 meters high.
