It doesn't usually snow here until Easter. Still no rain, though...kinda odd. A few miles up the road, though, the Sierras are as bare as a baby's backside...probably will be for another 4 weeks or so.

No snow here in Scotland but 12 " of rain in past 10 days. MOst of it seems to have come through my bedroom ceiling as well. What was that I heard you say about my whistle over clogging? :-)

The weather guy says it'll be snowing here later this week - no accumulation, but it's still WAY TOO DAMN EARLY!!!! Illinois has a grand old tradition unofficially referred to as Idiot's Night. On the night of the first freezing rain, every moron who got his drivers license from a bubble gum machine or who's forgotten how to drive since Spring, goes out and menaces everyone else.

And, of course, our old furnace died and we won't have another one before late next week at the best. I'm thinking of moving all the dogs into one room and sharing their sleeping pile.

EEEk! :eek:
Light spills into the hidden valley,
Illuminating the falls, paths, and
The breathtaking Elvish dwelling
Set back among great trees.
Lilting strains of Elven songs fill my heart;
I am finally home.

No. I was due yesterday. GRRRRRRR...I am quite sick of being pregnant!!!

Thanks for asking :smile: We did actually get some snow this morning, though it didn't stick longer than an hour. The kids were disappointed.

I saw the first few flakes of the season just earlier today. Melted as soon as it hit the ground though. We're supposed to get something more substantial tomorrow.

My girlfriend, who is going to school in Thunder Bay, already has enough snow on the ground to play in. I actually look forward to getting a bit more here.

Thanks, Andrea, for the kind words. No, we don't have a name yet. All the ones I like my husband doesn't, but he doesn't have any suggestions of his own really.

I even took the kids trick or treating tonight, hoping to get some labor started, but nothing, though it was cold and uphill and a wind blowing...:sad:

Thanks again,
Cees

Cees, hope for a good rainstorm... my midwife friend is convinced that the change in air pressure starts labor! :grin:
